This was my 1st time staying at this hotel in GR. Hotel exterior and interior looked clean and kept up to date. The property was close to various restaurants and other hotels in area as well. It was also close to Grand Rapids airport.
The attached video will highlight some of the property details.
Few things I need to mention here, for those that require “feather free room” the pillows you are given are not comfortable to sleep, so next time I would skip this option and see what happens.
For those that want to watch TV, be warned, you might not like the “ghost” and fuzzy pictures, my room wasn’t only one that had this issue but also a colleague of mine as well. The iron and iron board were clean and made it easy to get work clothes ready a fact not encountered at other properties where you have to ask for a new iron because someone burnt bottom of it!
I used the gym and it was good, same goes for the pool and hot tub. Pool water was on the chilly side, not sure if this was due to them working on it for few days or not.
Internet was ok, nothing to brag about, it did the job during the day and slow in afternoon when everyone was on it.
Breakfast is similar to other properties and had selection of everything from hot to cold items. Staff was friendly and kept area clean and breakfast stocked.
